After embroidering a peacock - which I love to this day - I decided to have a go at a peacock feather. I cannot say that I liked it as much, though. I remember that I stitched it on the inside of a bag, mainly because I didn't know what to do with it. The initial plan was to stitch the peacock and the feather on to a green velvet blazer, but I changed my mind and the feather (and the peacock, actually) ended up on a bag. When I moved to Edinburgh, I donated the bag, with the feather still in it. The peacock I thought was too good to left behind.
